De gevonden voetafdruk van een Dinocentaurus - The found footprint of a Dinocentaurus

Gumpie had geen idee wie die voetafdruk was? Oom Viclar was bijzonder nieuwsgierig gevonden. Hij deed langdurig onderzoek wat voor dier dat kon zijn. Bij opgravingen vond hij een klein skelet en een prachtige afdruk van een Archaeopteryx. Het is een uitgestorven vogel die 150 miljoen jaar geleden leefde. Hij is een van de oudste bekende vogels en oudste bekende vliegende dinosauriërs en wordt ook wel de Oervogel genoemd. Mus en muis bekijken het grondig.

Dinocentaurus

Nieuwsgierig geworden over de afdruk, vroeg muis, ‘Was het een olifant, die heeft ook grote poten’.

‘Je bent in de buurt, deze hier heeft een pootafdruk van ongeveer 120 cm. Kijk naar die stok van 40 cm. naast de afdruk, dan heb je een idee van de grootte. Ze keken met verbazing naar de afdruk. ‘Muis, als je het wat beter wil bekijken, laat ik het luchtschip even dalen. Dan kun je het zelf goed bekijken’. Muis met een schrik, ‘hij zal toch even terug komen en mij onder de voet lopen.’

‘Na lang zoeken bleek het een ‘Dinocentaurus’ te zijn. Deze komen niet meer voor in de Kubus Vallei.

Scuffie vertelt dat oom Viclar een skelet van een baby Dinocentaurus had gevonden. Met aandacht wordt die op het luchtschip bekeken. Opmerking van mus; 'een gevonden skelet mag je niet in de bek kijken'. Tot slot laat Scuffie een prachtige afdruk van een oervogel zien. 

Archaeopteryx

Muis vraagt wat dat voorstelt. 'Archaeopteryx is een uitgestorven vogel die 150 miljoen jaar geleden leefde. Hij is een van de oudste bekende vogels en oudste bekende vliegende dinosauriërs en wordt ook wel de Oervogel genoemd'.

Na dit verhaal wil muis eindelijk de inhoud van de kubus weten. En zo vertrekt het luchtschip naar de de boom van Oom Viclar.

De Dino afdruk in de kubus vallei - The Dino footprint in the cubic valley

 

Wat verrukkelijk om weer verder te gaan met Mus&Muis. Vooral het onderwerp Steampunky spreekt mij aan. Ik zie dat zowel mus als muis aangekleed worden in een Steampunk outfit, prachtig! 

In het vorige blog heb je iets vermeld over Neptunes, gelukkig heb je er een illustratie bij gemaakt. Wat een mooi verhaal van de keizer en de nachtegaal, geschreven door Hans Christian Andersen.

Vertel in het kort iets bij elke pagina's.

De vogels worden opgewonden door een sleuteltje. Oom Viclar heeft een speciale verzameling. Muis kijkt waar het sleuteltje hangt voor de Steampunk muis. Oom heeft die muis de naam Moisy gegeven. Op aanwijzingen van mus ziet hij de naam van het figuurtje. Als muis er naar toe kruipt, ziet hij aan de achterkant de sleutel voor deze mechanische muis. Rechter pagina... mus ziet de Steampunk vogels. Muis geen belangstelling, hij gaat naar 'zijn' muis om te spelen.

In de verzameling van vogels, zit een Japanse nachtegaal. Muis gelooft niet dat die kan fluiten. Scuffie wint de vogel op en... begint te fluiten. Naast het verhaal de bijgaande illustratie van de keizer.

Scuffie vertelt dat hij van mus en muis wil aankleden als een echte Steampunker. Mus zoekt in het boek wat hij wil hebben. Een bril die kan inzoomen. Als hij die om heeft, kan hij het niet het knopje aanzetten. Die zit achter zijn kop. Muis helpt en drukt té hard op het knopje. Resultaat, de bril zoomt snel in op de deurknop met een Octopusarm. Mus schrikt ontzettend. Op de rechterpagina krijgt muis een speciale hoed. Een kaashoed. Oom Viclar was dol op kaas. Muis zou die hoed heel graag behouden, helaas.

Zo dat was het weer en over 2 weken gaan we verder met het verhaal.

Gumpie; 'vertel iets!' Ze vliegen naar de boom van oom Viclar en stoppen even bij een voetafdruk van een .......

The birds are excited by a key. Uncle Viclar has a special collection. Mouse looks where the key hangs for the Steampunk mouse. Uncle named that mouse Moisy. On instructions from sparrow, he sees the name of the figure. When mouse crawls towards it, he sees the key for this mechanical mouse at the back. Right page... sparrow sees the steampunk birds. Mouse not interested, he goes to 'his' mouse to play.

2nd illustration

In the collection of birds, there is a Japanese nightingale. Mouse doesn't believe he can whistle. Scuffie wins the bird and... starts to whistle. In addition to the story, the accompanying illustration of the emperor.

3rdt illustration

Scuffie tells that he wants to dress up from sparrow and mouse like a real Steampunk. Sparrow searches the book for what he wants. Glasses that can zoom in. If he has it on, he can't turn it on. It's behind his head. Mouse helps and presses the button too hard. Result, the glasses quickly zoom in on the doorknob with an Octopus arm. Sparrow is very frightened. On the right page, mouse gets a special hat. A cheese hat. Uncle Viclar loved cheese. Mouse would love to keep that hat, unfortunately.

Mus&Muis en de geheime kubus tekens - Sparrow&Mouse and the secret Cubic characters

Gumpie, goed nieuws..... we gaan met regelmaat weer verder met het verhaal van Mus&Muis. Steampunky is afgerond en ook het 1e deel van de pelikaan en de slak (Mr.P&Sneezy) is gereed. Even een korte terugblik waar we waren bij mijn reisvrienden; Mus&Muis in de Kubus Vallei. Hieronder screendumps met een kleine uitleg.

In de vallei staan verschillende kubussen met betekenissen. De meeste zijn ontcijfert, alleen één was niet te verklaren. Als muis het symbooltje ziet, weet hij het gelijk. Hij pakt een stukje papier en begint te tekenen. 'Het is een hoorn met ijs'. Iedereen lacht. Waarom zou je zo'n teken plaatsen als er alleen in de omgeving ijsbergen zijn? Muis weet het zeker....'om de hoek is een IJSTENT.

Rechterpagina. Scuffie, de red eye frog, vertelt iets over de kaart. De rode stippelijklijn is de route naar Oom's boom. Mus kijkt en vraagt wat is nr. 6. Dat is het Triton eiland, waar Neptunes woont. We weten als hij op een conch blaast het hier kan stormen. Nooit van gehoord en geloven dit verhaal beslist niet.

Scuffie vertelt dat oom Viclar een liefhebber was van Steampunk. Hij had zelfs een steampunk muis ontworpen. Dat wilde muis wel eens zien. In een van de boeken zit een vel papier met de werktekening. Muis zoekt, maar dat is lastig..

Muis heeft de werktekening en de ijzeren muis gevonden. Hij is er helemaal dol op. Scuffie vertelt dat hij 3 wieltjes heeft en kan rijden. Zijn flaporen bewegen dan ook. Maar als hij op het aan en uit knopje druk, doet hij het niet. 'Hij moet met een speciale sleutel eerst opgewonden worden.

Below are screen dumps with a small explanation.

Waarom heeft het zolang geduurd met de update van je blog? Meestal om de 2 weken'. 'Gumpie, dat heeft een reden..... ik heb een animatie gemaakt over jou. Dat doe je niet in een paar dagen. En daarnaast ook nog aan de laatste illustraties van het verhaal. Laten we beginnen met de animatie. 

'Leuk, ga je er nog meer maken?' 'Voorlopig niet, eerst de verhalen afmaken.

We gaan verder met de aantekeningen van het boekje over de Magische Tuin. We gaan het hebben over de aardster. Daar zijn vooral de Eikelbijter dol op. Dat komt over 2 weken

Gumpie wordt beroemd - Gumpie becomes famous

'Gumpie, we moeten onze vaste lezers even vertellen, dat we op deze blog geen verhaal vertellen over de Magische Tuin. Dat gaat weer verder na deze blog. Ik kreeg een totaal ander idee... een animatie maken'.'Ja, en ik speel de hoofdrol. Gumpie wordt nog eens beroemd'. Er is al een begin gemaakt en we kunnen wel een foto laten zien. Het begint wanneer jij uit jouw slaapplek kom..... een kleine potlooddoosje.

'Wanneer je uit het doosje bent, verschijnt er een geel stukje papier met tekst. Dit wordt voor een wisseltekst gebruikt voor daarna met een film. 1 versie voor naar het strand en 1 versie met tekst naar het bos.

In het voorjaar gaan we via een spannende afdaling maken door het bos van Schoorl. Samen met jou gaan we een fietsritje maken. Nogmaals in het voorjaar als de blaadjes in de bomen groen zijn'. 
Gumpie, we hebben nog wel een illustratie gemaakt over het verhaal van Steampunky. Die komt bij Pufmuis om afscheid te nemen. 

Terwijl hij vraagt hoe de ballonvlucht is geweest, ziet hij dat zijn voorpoot gespalkt is. Pufmuis vertelt dat de ballon halverwege tussen de takken van een boom is gekomen en geknapt. Gelukkig niet erg hoog, maar tijdens de val werd een tak geraakt. Steampunky vond het erg voor Pufmuis. 'Nu weet je nog niet of de aarde plat of rond is?'

'Dat klopt, maar ik denk dat de aarde echt plat is, want anders val je er vanaf'.
Steampunky reageerde hier niet op. Volgende keer gaan we het over de pufzwam hebben die gebruikt wordt bij de Eikelbijters als 'waterpijp'.

Gumpie, we did make an illustration about the story of Steampunky. He comes to Pufmouse to say goodbye. While he asks how the balloon flight was, he sees that his front leg is splinted. Puffmouse says that the balloon got halfway between the branches of a tree and burst. Fortunately not very high, but during the fall a branch was hit. Steampunky felt bad for Puffy Mouse. "Now you don't know whether the earth is flat or round?"
