Zeeschuim en bierschuim - Jumping into beer foam

zaterdag 23 april 2022

English version
From the beginning Gumpie came to the beach, he was fascinated by the large foam flakes along the shore. Unfortunately too big to jump in. He got that chance when I got a glass of beer with a foam head. The result is recorded. He came up cheerfully... 'Are we going to the woods or dunes next week?' "Depends on the weather!"
What strange illustrations did you make for the story of Steampunky this week
'A blue whale and a witch ring, tell me!' 'Here Mushy tells about these honey mushrooms and that they can grow very large. The largest organism in the world is not the 30-meter-long blue whale, but the mycelium of the gloomy honey fungus? This fungus lives in the Blue Mountains in Oregon, America and now covers a whopping 965 acres of land. This is the size of 1920 football fields! It is estimated that this fungus is between two and eight thousand years old, but at least 2400 years! A very old mushroom. Well I just wanted to mention that!'
Gumpie points to a circle of fly agarics.
"Are you going to talk about witch circles here?" 'No, that's a popular belief, because the witches used to dance wildly at night. It's a dangerous place, whoever steps into a witch's circle can't just get out again. It could also make you sick. No, here we call it a circle of friends. Not only the fly agarics, also the puff mushrooms come together. They make the circle, which is connected by underground wires, bigger and bigger. If you pay close attention, you will see that circles often move'. "And I have to believe all that!" Mushy doesn't respond to this."
"What are you doing now?" An illustration where Mushy says goodbye to Steampunky and the route sign of the 'Music Plants'.
So see you next week.
