In het oorspronkelijk reisverhaal vertelt de hopvogel in Frankrijk hoe de vogels aan hun kleuren zijn gekomen. Hij had de sleutel van de bibliotheek van de Abdij St. du Martin. Daar het gehele verhaal nu in Artis afspeelt moest ik een aantal aanpassingen maken.Zo had de vogel bij het boek kruisjes op zijn blauwe lint... weg gepoetst.
Volgende week aanvullende illustraties bij Golem Grad.... het festival met een bijzondere vogel.
